We welcome HOWL back! Crafted at Tabacalera La iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic. This 5.5 x 50 Robusto Extra was blended using some of the most unique fillers we have come across while working with Tabacalera La iSLA.

Filler: Dominican Criollo '98, Dominican Corojo '99, and Nicaragua Esteli Criollo '98

The Notes:
The cold draw offers an abundance of florals, earth, and mineral. Upon lighting you are met with a blast of spring florals, Asian spices, and oak. The spice level creeps up on the palate and is a dominating factor while the florals and oak take a secondary seat. The finish is long and last but clean. As you progress into the final part of the first half, this is where the evolution meets complexity.
Complete transition as we are now into the final half. This dense creamy sweetness is now the dominating factor with spices underlying. The aroma is quite intoxicating with copious amount of fruit and earth. One thing I will say is that the aroma almost has the smell of sweet heavy whipping cream, it sticks with you.
The retrohale offers a bright bouquet of florals and honey like sweetness with mild spices.
As this blends continues to evolve, it’s going to be one very interesting journey to see which direction the depths of layers of flavor go. Stash a few away for the long haul!
