Bits of Havana San Andres Release

Bits of Havana San Andres Release

The Bits of Havana blend has become one of the most popular regular production blends we craft here at DROP. Our members have spoken so highly of this Nicaraguan Puro across all of the vitolas we have crafted from the PC to the popular robusto. What we strive for everyday here at DROP is your complete satisfaction in all aspects of your experience with us.

From the selection of cigars, the quickness in which we ship (same day shipping if ordered by 3pm EST), to shipping with Boveda Humidification Packs to ensure your cigars arrive in pristine condition. One thing we do on a daily basis that separates us from the rest is our desire for feedback from you, and what we could do to better improve.

One of the most highly requested items was Bits of Havana in a maduro wrapper. We are happy to announce that we heard you and have listened! Bits of Havana San Andres Robusto has now joined the regular production lineup.

*The Review

A quick recap on the Bits of Havana San Andres...

Wrapper: Mexican San Andres

Filler: Nicaragua

Binder: Nicaragua

Body: Medium+

Vitola: 5 x 48

The initial aroma from the foot is heavy with chocolate, leather, and spice. Upon lighting you are immediately met with a blast of chocolate, earth, leather, and black pepper.

The spice levels pick up as you progress but the chocolate notes become more dense and spicier, like a fantastic Mexican hot chocolate. The palate is coated and the finish is long and lasting.

The retrohale offers an in depth look into the earthy and chocolate layers of this cigar. As we enter into the final half of the cigar, the chocolate layers begin to take more of a dominant factory and a touch of cream enters into the mix. Spice levels have remained consistent throughout and never overtake the experience.

This is a full on chocolate bomb. No other way to put it.

*Paired with Topo Chico and an espresso. I highly encourage you to smoke this with your coffee...not a spirit.
